Raven Aerostar is looking for a talented and experienced software engineer to enhance and maintain our next-generation radar systems. Essential Functions

  • Research, write, develop, test, and evaluate software programs.
  • Object-oriented C++ application design and development in a Linux environment
  • Work closely with research engineers to understand and implement new data processing algorithms
  • Analyze existing software for possible performance improvements
  • Track progress of tasks in Jira
  • Version control with GitLab
  • Peer code reviews



  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Skilled in C++ development
  • Proficient in a Linux environment
  • Proficient in Git
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash and Python
  • Team player who is self-motivated, and has ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be a US Person
  • RF and signal processing fundamentals
  • Prior or current use of MatLAB
  • Background in mathematics or physics
  • Remote and in-person customer troubleshooting
