Conduct flight service activities in preparation of Lighter Than Air (LTA) launch, recovery, and post flight operations. This would be a 12 hour night shift on a rotating schedule. The hours would be from 6:00pm-6:00am. 

Essential Functions
• Primary role is to navigate and pilot balloon systems on rotating night shift

• Perform flight operations activities per flight schedules and in collaboration with internal teams.

• Ensure all processes and inspections are followed and compliant to requirements.

• May perform duties associated with site safety, security, training, or maintenance control.

• May complete necessary regulatory, agency, and internal documentations.

• Utilize technical knowledge to solve problems.

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on systems and equipment.

• Maintain adequate inventory of parts, supplies, and equipment for assigned shifts/flights/missions.

• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

• Write test plans, procedures, conduct test, and document results. 

• Learning, understanding, continuously improving, and promoting the division’s quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.

• May be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assist in other areas as needed.

• Demonstrates the Dimension of Competition and Raven Team Member Values in their daily actions.

• Minimum High school diploma or equivalent
• Higher education and/or experience in aviation or electrical/mechanical is preferred
• Active secret security clearance is desired or the ability to qualify for a secret clearance is required
• Experience with Lighter Than Air (LTA) systems is beneficial
• Prior military experience is desired
• Basic problem analysis and problem solving techniques
• High level of patience
• Ability to be flexible and multitask
• Ability to read blueprints and maintain accurate records
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members
• Travel is required, potentially up to 75% of time, both domestic and international
