As a DevOps Engineering Team Lead you will lead, grow, and mentor a team of DevOps Engineers who focus on building internal infrastructure for cloud applications at Raven.


  • May perform the functions and responsibilities of an engineer.
  • Understand internal applications and coordinate with other engineering leaders for features and bugs
  • Define new workflows and processes for team
  • Monitor the demand for engineering services, and participate in planning processes to ensure adequate resources.
  • Hire and grow the DevOps team to meet the demands of the organization as cloud consumption scales
  • Identify gaps in internal tooling and define a plan to develop solutions to fill the gap
  • Track and manage cloud spend at a high level and identify optimizations for internal teams
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of engineering documentation
  • Be the guardian of an inclusive and open culture to facilitate learning and growth
  • Be the deciding factor on engineering decisions and be the conduit of information from the organization to the team
  • Keep abreast of new developments in the fields of engineering design, methods, and applications.
  • Demonstrate the Dimensions of Competition and Raven Team Member Values in their daily actions and encourages their teams to do the same
  • Administer team member performance reviews, goal setting, and participate in salary planning
  • Learning, understanding, continuously improving, and promoting the division’s quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years related experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in infrastructure as code
  • Experience operating in AWS or Azure
  • Ability and desire to coach, mentor, and empower team members to succeed.
  • Ability to be flexible and multitask.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.
