Summary

Provide service to internal and external customers to support sales for the division.

Essential Functions

  • Promote and maintain the highest possible customer relationship and satisfaction.
  • Follow up on customer questions, requests, and issues in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with internal teams and customer to assist with all aspects of processing the order.
  • Prepare price quotes and follow through the process.
  • May generate and/or verify pricing, discounts, and/or terms of the order, within established guidelines and division approval.
  • Handle warranty claims and any credits, per division policy.
  • Keep internal teams informed of competitive information gained regarding pricing, products, or general issues in the market.
  • Participate in industry events such as trade shows, conferences, or other travel as required.
  • Depending on division, initiate requests for product samples and/or sales literature.
  • Prepare sales reports as needed.
  • Keeps informed of new developments, methods, and techniques in the sales profession.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years related experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Capability to build and maintain relationships that establish trust and create value.
  • Sharp perception of verbal and communication skills, providing enhancement of sales abilities.
  • Effectively communicate in clear and professional manner, both verbally and written.
  • Ability to consider the client, competitors, and Raven to evaluate opportunities.
  • Aptitude to create value propositions to address the client’s needs, both known and unknown.
  • Proficient with a computer, including Microsoft Office programs.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
  • Team player who is self-motivated, and has ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.
  • May travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Annual Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check required. Refer to Raven Vehicle Operations Policy CS-13 for guidelines.
