Our team builds software applications focusing on efficient manufacturing, forecasting, modeling, integrating with various software, and business intelligence applications.

Essential responsibilities

  • Contribute quickly with a diversely talented team, participate in mentorship, code review, and knowledge-sharing to build scalable BI solutions for Raven.
  • Integrate specialized software to transfer information seamlessly to end users through reporting and analytical tools.
  • Work closely with customers and business analysts to understand requirements and business goals.
  • Continually improve user experience by simplifying interfaces and adding business intelligence.
  • Research and implement new BI applications that add significant value to business.
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive data warehouse, leveraging information from numerous disparate sources.
  • Stay up to date with evolving technology with training and self-motivated education.
  • Good work ethic and solid trouble shooting skills.
  • Willingness to learn new tools, skills, and take on new challenges.

Desired Skills

  • Working familiarity in Financial Reporting and Analytics.
  • Strong communication skills and business acumen
  • Proficient in the following: SSRS, SSIS, SSAS (2014/2016).
  • Extensive database experience in Oracle, SQL Server and DB2.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Qlikview or Power BI.
  • Strong working knowledge of data warehousing concepts, particularly dealing with the Kimball Methodology.
  • Solid understanding of master data management, data structures, database concepts, design patterns, concepts of object relationships, version control systems, and data modeling.
  • Experience building dashboards for end user analytics and representing data in a meaningful way.
  • Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent field of study.
  • 3 - 10 years BI Development experience.
  • US Citizenship or Permanent Residency may be required depending on work area.
