SUMMARY
The Product Validation Test Specialist finds, profiles, and vets in-field alpha testers. This person will install and support new products being tested as well as training testers how to use new systems/products, as well as collect and document feedback from testers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Gather feedback on products from grower and retailers during infield alpha testing.
  • Ensure content and structure of all testing/validation documents are maintained.
  • Complete documentation, implementation, and monitoring of product testing and validation per defined standards.
  • Train testers on utilization of test equipment and procedures.
  • Maintain close connection to the product to provide valuable input in the new product development process.
  • Kit validation on OEM/Aftermarket. Cable/wiring schematic design. Building and Developing kits for predetermined machines.
  • Serve as liaison for engineering efforts between internal teams and external customers, specifically In-Field Alpha sites.
  • Identify new product and product enhancement opportunities.
  • Verify materials function properly and interact according to design, when integrated into a single complete system.
  • Implement specific system training to Alpha customers and internal staff as needed to keep everyone current on new products/software.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering technology or precision agriculture, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years related experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact well in person to gather and interpret feedback.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of agriculture.
  • Ability to develop and implement processes.
  • Ability to travel up to 70% overnight, including international travel.
