SUMMARY

As a Human Resources Generalist, you'll have the opportunity provide front line Human Resources service and support for the business. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Have regular contact with team members and leadership in assigned division. Maintain knowledge of division to provide outstanding Human Resources service and support.

  • Assure coordination and communication of all HR services.

  • Respond to team member questions and concerns.

  • Recruit, interview, and hire for specified positions. Coordinate appropriate pre-employment screening.

  • Conduct team member onboarding.

  • Serve as liaison between team member and all involved parties to manage worker’s compensation claims and related processes, including return to work coordination.

  • Conduct exit interviews and appropriate follow-up.

  • Lead or assist with special projects for HR or a division.

  • Participate in department improvement activities.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field.

  • 2+ years related experience is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to work with highly confidential information and documentation with discretion.

  • Understanding of HR body of knowledge.

  • Business acumen to work with all levels of leadership.

  • Exceptional oral and written communications, and customer service skills.

  • Proficiency with a computer, including Microsoft Office programs.

  • Problem-solving abilities. Ability to identify waste and creatively look for solutions.

  • Ability to be flexible and multitask.

  • Team player who is self-motivated, and has ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.

  • Limited travel as needed.

  • Annual Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check required. Refer to Raven Vehicle Operations Policy CS-13 for guidelines.
