As an IT Service Technician, you'll have an opportunity to install, configure, and maintain hardware and software for the company's Aerostar division. Ensure stable and secure operation of Information Technology assets.


  • Test, install and maintain computers, thin clients, printers, phone systems, conference room systems, and related equipment for end users.
  • Support end users, including troubleshooting and training.
  • Create user accounts and perform basic administration on the Windows Active Directory system.
  • Perform routine administration on network file shares.
  • Facilitate asset management, including maintenance contracts.
  • Assist with maintaining and managing IT loaner equipment.
  • May provide support for mobile communication devices.
  • May provide input or assistance in IT asset procurement.
  • Position may require administrative duties incidental to the function, such as processing billings.
  • Perform troubleshooting to look for areas of opportunity, as well as compliance and implementation issues.
  • Develop, research, and recommend test procedures.
  • Responsible for defining technical approaches and tasks related to activities and minor projects.


  • Associate’s Degree in computer science or technical field is preferred.
  • 4+ years experience in a related position, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Expertise in DNS, DHCP, and Windows Active Directory.
  • Advanced proficiency with PC hardware and hardware configuration.
  • Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP networks and network configuration.
  • Basic knowledge of Atlassian products a plus. 
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Solidworks, Mathworks, and/or Altium a plus. 
  • Basic knowledge of VMware Workstation software a plus. 
  • Basic knowledge of Zebra scanners and printers a plus. 
  • Team player who is self-motivated, and has ability to work with minimal supervision. 
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Capable of defining appropriate approaches and solutions. Able to define critical project criteria to ensure project completion.
  • Well-developed problem analysis and problem solving techniques.
  • Ability to read drawings and work instructions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.
  • Position may require work after-hours on an as-needed basis.
  • Travel may be necessary on an as-needed basis.
  • Annual Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check required. Refer to Raven Vehicle Operations Policy CS-13 for guidelines.
