Perform activities related to the shipping functions for the division. Ensure products being shipped to the customer are handled per processes in an efficient manner.

Essential Functions
• Load and unload freight.
• May run pick lists or other related documentation.
• Pick and package orders as needed.
• Transport inventory to proper locations.
• Create and maintain processes and instructions for shipping.
• Assist in preparing, wrapping, and labeling pallets.
• Inspect outgoing shipments for proper packaging.
• Schedule shipments, or work with logistics team members to schedule shipments.
• May order shipping supplies, or notify appropriate person.
• Train new team members.
• May assist with cycle counts.
• Depending on division, may operate forklift or pallet jack.
• Demonstrates the Dimensions of Competition and Raven Team Member Values in their daily actions.
• Participate in production improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area. Follow established safety and ergonomic standards.
• May be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assist in other areas as needed.
• Learning, understanding, continuously improving, and promoting the division’s quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.
• Contributes to the team and tasks in an above average manner.
• Lead or participate in department improvement activities.
• Continuously pursue areas of opportunity and efficiency.
• Assist in routine maintenance of shag truck.
• Move trailers between lots and docks as needed.
• Assure team member resources are properly utilized in the department.
• Ensure flow of work.
• Contributes to a positive, team-oriented atmosphere and encourages good work habits.
• Act as liaison to other departments, team members, and external contacts relating to shipping needs.
• May lead or contribute to department improvement initiatives.

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 5+ years production experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License.
• Previous shipping/receiving experience is required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Depending on division, have ability to operate a forklift, pallet mover, and hoist equipment.
• Working knowledge of ground and air carriers, LTL, and international shipment procedures.
• Ability to maintain accurate records.
• Good organizational skills. Ability to multi-task.
• Proficiency with a computer.
• Team player who is self-motivated, and has ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.
• Well-developed problem analysis and problem solving techniques.
• Annual Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check required. Refer to Raven Vehicle Operations Policy CS-13 for guidelines. (CSD and AERO only)
• Working knowledge of ground and air carriers, LTL, and international shipment procedures.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• High level of patience and service. Ability to motivate team members.
