SUMMARY

As a Manufacturing Electrical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to provide support and electronics technical expertise in the production environment. You will also interact with vendors and internal customers on production related improvements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Evaluate test requirements, based on specifications, standard procedures, and internal/external requirements. Develop test plans and procedures.
  • Review new electronics designs to ensure smooth transitions into manufacturing.
  • Assist in trouble shooting electronc assemblies and components to determine failure root cause.
  • Prepare reports of testing data, evaluate, and provide recommendations based on findings. Lead or contribute input for improvements.
  • Execute and document tests.
  • Identify and recommend test equipment, production equipment, fixturing, or tooling needed to meet product specifications.
  • Train team members on utilization of test equipment and procedures.
  • Keep abreast of new developments in the fields of engineering design, methods, and applications.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area. Follow established safety and ergonomic standards.
  • May be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assist in other areas as needed.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Electrical or electronics engineer  with Bachelors' degree or Master's degree and 2 to 3 years experience prefered- Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • High level of service skills.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing techniques is preferred.
  • Well-developed problem analysis and problem solving techniques.
  • Proficiency with a computer, including use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Team player who is self-motivated, and has ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.
  • Travel may be necessary, based on position.
  • US Citizenship may be required, based on position.
