SUMMARY

The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for the go-to-market strategy and creating market adoption for new product and service solutions.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Execute on product strategy by creating value propositions and go-to-market strategies that align sales and marketing initiatives.

  • Responsible for market research and advise on marketing plans for specific products, services, or business lines.

  • Lead development and deployment of a clear product strategy for revenue growth and margin expansion for the enterprise.

  • Ability to demonstrate and present product features to customers.

  • Review changes in the marketplace and recommend go-to-market strategy to management.

  • Analyze competitors’ strategies and positioning in the market to help inform strategic decisions.

  • Understand the customers – who they are, how they buy and their key buying criteria.

  • Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, business owners, engineering, and sales to drive execution of strategy.

  • Exercise marketing expertise to assess the effectiveness of the marketing programs that support the products on an ongoing basis.

  • Plan the launches of new products and service solutions for existing products and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.

  • Lead speaking engagements and develop associated written works to communicate product value to customers.

  • Support our sales channels by helping them better understand the impact of new products.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing or related field.

  • Minimum 8 years related experience is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Proficient in CRM tools such as Salesforce

  • Power User of networking tools such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram

  • Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to influence and facilitate decisions across multiple levels of the organization.

  • Strong decision-making, organizational, and analytical skills

  • Strong communication skills and comfortable speaking in large group formats

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
