Develop, maintain, and update test standards for new or enhanced products.  Execute test processes to ensure the quality of our division’s products and push the state of the art.



  • Evaluate specifications, standard procedures, and internal/external requirements and develop test plans suitable to prove requirements.
  • Work with various mechanical lab equipment to conduct shock, vibration, temperature, humidity, water immersion, splash spray, and particle impact testing
  • Work with various electrical lab equipment to conduct EMC, RF energy, electrical shorts, over-voltage, and product functional testing.
  • Develop and execute test procedures and document results.
  • Identify and recommend test equipment, production equipment, fixturing, and/ or tooling needed to meet product specifications.
  • Prepare reports of testing data, evaluate, and provide recommendations based on findings. Lead or contribute input for improvements.
  • Train team members on utilization of test equipment and procedures.
  • Keep abreast of new developments in the fields of engineering, test methods, and applications.
  • May assist with the request for quote process, as related to needs for the testing function.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work area. Follow established safety and ergonomic standards.
  • May be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assist in other areas as needed.
  • Learning, understanding, continuously improving, and promoting the division’s quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.
  • Has knowledge and skills in the engineering discipline.
  • Uses prescribed techniques and procedures within established criteria.
  • Works independently, as well as with a team.
  • Performs technical work that does not require previous experience.



  • Experienced engineer with 5+ years of career experience with Bachelors' or Master's degree in engineering or similar field.
  • A well-developed ability to critically analyze and solve problems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with team members and leadership staff.
  • Team player who is self-motivated and has ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • High level of service skills.
  • An internship in a related role or field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing techniques is preferred.
  • Specific skills, proficiencies, and knowledge in field related to position, as identified by department leadership.
  • Proficiency with applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel, Jira, and Confluence
  • Aptitude and interest in technology and agriculture.
  • Travel may be necessary, based on position.
  • US Citizenship may be required, based on position.
  • Required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach. Required to lift/carry up to 20lbs.
  • Exposure to a lab, office, manufacturing, and/or field environments. Position may occasionally require entering a production environment, including exposure to noise, fumes, moving machinery, and varied temperatures.
