As an automated test engineer, you will provide technical development and support for internal tools and pipelines for automated testing. 



  • Develop, deploy, and maintain automated tests incorporating hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and software-in-the-loop (SIL) fixtures as part of continuous integration environments 
  • Deliver quality tools with proper documentation to facilitate product development and prevent regression that are easy to use and reliable 
  • Train and support the use of testing tools by development teams 
  • Provide visibility and tracking of test status through test reports and dashboards accessible to the automated test and development teams 
  • Produce and deliver complete logs and error analysis of failing tests 
  • Work with development groups to resolve failing tests and fix identified bugs 
  • Engage with service, sales, manufacturing, and developers to understand internal and external customer use cases and deliver value to customers through automated tests 
  • Advocate for quality of products and software 
  • Demonstrate the Dimensions of Competition and Raven Team Member Values in daily actions and encourage the team to do the same. 
  • Participate in standard planning cycle events such as sprint planning and retrospectives



  • ​​​​​​​Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related technical field. 
  • Preferred experience with CAN and ISO J1939 
  • Strong background with Python and PyTest 
  • Proficient with connecting and configuring devices for network communication 
  • Experience interpreting electrical schematics to connect hardware and produce cabling 
  • Familiar with managing controlled build/development environments using technologies such as containers 
  • Knowledge of proper version control practices 
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines 
  • Capable of working in multiple operating systems
